So I decided today to do something about my online & offline gaming resources. I have some games that I consider my “top games“, games I am always interested in playing and often read and research about, and I wanted to have a place to collect information, pass on information, and use as a general reference.
The idea comes a bit from my use of Ma.gnolia to store bookmarks, a bit from Board Game Geek and a bit from sites like Mahalo which offer a human generated search result page when you are looking for something. Instead of these being results page of general interest though, they are specific to me. Here is what I am doing.
I am going to be creating a collection of pages on my blog, some dedicated to specific genres of gaming, others to specific games. Over the next several months I will be putting together pages for my favorite games. I have started today with a page for the Iron Gauntlets Roleplaying Game. My hope is to have about 20 or 30 of these pages created over this time period.
