New Music Friday - A Bit New Age

Welcome back to the third edition of New Music Friday. A busy week at work has limited my time to explore new music, but I do have a few tracks this week. I am hopeful that next week New Music Friday will change over to a Podcast format. I am getting more comfortable with the software, and with talking to myself into a microphone.

This weeks music focuses more on the New Age side of things. The first track is from an artist I was pretty impressed with. Priscilla Hernadez is described as an “Ethereal gothic singer-songwriter and fantasy illustrator brings you a world of dark fairy tales and romantic ghost stories.” She hails from Spain. I like this song, maybe good mood music for a Roleplaying game.

The second artist is another group that is totally new to me, Pornopop. I learned this morning while I was listening to my podcasts that I was beat to the punch on Pornopop by the Sonic Spotlight. The Sonic Spotlight is a podcast by the members of the band Hungry Lucy where they showcase other peoples music. They include the track Centre in episode 14 of their show, so i thought I would chose another track off of the album. Good stuff certainly worth a listen.

The last track for this week is from the group Halou. Halou is a group I truly love, and I was pretty happy to find a track on Promonet to share this week. The track is from the Album Beneath Trembling Lanterns, which is a new project from Rebecca and Ryan Coseboom. Rebecca is the singer for Halou.
