The gadget geek part of me has an evil twin brother known simply as the ‘bag man‘. The bag man’s sole purpose in life is to buy bags to haul around the myriad of geek gadgets his brother has collected. Bag man has gone through a string of purchase and returns with the wonderful people at E-Bags who have worked to fuel his bag purchasing desires. However, it appears we might have just stumbled upon a bag that will keep Bag man content for a while.
Last week I purchased a few gifts from E-Bags, and included a small one for myself. The Eagle Creek Milano is a bag I have seen and heard good things about, and I took the plunge and got one for myself. I wavered back and forth on the green vs. the red color, but in the end went with the red…or the Tomato color as it is officially called.
It arrived yesterday, and I am pretty impressed with the bag so far. It has my planner (a Franklin pocket sized planner), mp3 player (Dell DJ20 2nd Edition), my Nintendo DS, my digital camera (Casio EX-Z4 4 MP) and a few games, my wallet, my headphones, and still has room for a a present I am hopeful to receive at Christmas. I think I could throw a paperback in the bag without to much trouble. I am heading out of town for the holiday’s, nothing like a road (or air) trip to test out a new bag’s strengths and weaknesses.
Yes I know this is basically a purse…but I really wanted a way to have all of my stuff with me. And a purse seemed to be a good place to start.
