I have been wanting to like one of the solitaire games that are part of the RPG challenge for a while, but none of them had caught my eye. Terror Town was posted yesterday, and offers something that I think I will enjoy. It is a simple, one page RPG in a very Silent Hill type world. After each turn you roll a die to see if you stay in the “normal” world where you can find weapons and relax, or you go to the Grey or Dark worlds where the horrors of Terror Town reveal themselves.
The game looks fun, so I plan to download it and try a game later today. I really like to watch the 1KM1KT feed. It is a great source of inspiration, if nothing else, for gamers of all types. You can download the PDF for this short RPG by following the link below.
Submitted for the Character Sheet is the RPG challenge: Terror Town RPG is a simple solo game wherein all rules of gameplay are included in a single character sheet. In the game, the player takes the role of a person trapped in the evil Terror Town, a ghost town whose legend claims a corrupt mayor sacrificed the souls of his entire town in order to gain power and eternal life in a dark dimension of pure evil. Now, the town exists in three different worlds at once: Our World, Grey World, and Dark World. In our world, you will find weapons and other useful items. In Dark World, you will find twisted monsters out to kill you. In Grey World, you will find both. Can you survive the survival horror challenge of Terror Town?
